Anonymous said: I have a quick question. When I trailer my horses she's totally fine. Gets on good, ect. The only problem I've run into is when I go to unload her she throws her head up when I back her off and almost hit her head on the top of the trailer. Is their anyway to avoid this? I don't want her getting hurt. Thanks!
I’ve known so many horses who do this, and the only realistic solution I’ve found is to put a helmet on them. I’m pretty sure they’re called head bumpers and you thread the halter through them.
I don’t know of a way to teach her to not do that, but maybe some of my followers do! The only advice I have is to just keep calm and try and get her out as slowly as possible. I hope that helped! :)
